Prescriptions cannot be dispensed or processed with us or outside/online pharmacies when Dr Feinsod is out of the office.
HOSPITAL OPERATIONS UPDATE 10/7/23:
Our doors still remained closed to the public. There has been confusion as to why this is. It did indeed start to address disease control, however, it is now (and has been for awhile) because of staffing shortages. There is a nation-wide veterinary staffing crisis. The vet field has not recovered from the pandemic for many reasons, too complex to explain here, but there are many good articles online. We simply are unable to keep the front desk covered at all times as all of our staff are constantly on the move or on the phone.
2 people will be allowed in the building to accompany their pet to a scheduled appointment. This is for scheduled appointments with the vet only. Tech appts, Rx and OTC purchases and pickups will remain carside for now.
Protocols: Continue to CALL the office when you arrive in the parking lot and let staff know if you want carside on in-person service. IF YOU CHOOSE CARSIDE: staff will check you in over the phone then direct you to bring your pet to the door when an exam room is open, then the doctor will call you to review exam. IF YOU CHOOSE IN-PERSON: you will be instructed to come into the building when an exam room is available. Check in/out will be conducted in exam rooms to avoid bottlenecks in the reception area.
Please do not enter our facility if you have any signs/symptoms of any contagious illness (even if you think its allergies). Help us stay healthy so we can help animals.
